Search Atlas, the AI-powered SEO and marketing platform serving more than 30,000 customers and 5,000 agencies worldwide, has announced a native Slack integration for its AI teammate, Search Atlas Coworker. The integration allows marketers and agencies to manage SEO and OTTO tasks directly within Slack conversations, eliminating the need to switch to the Search Atlas dashboard for task delegation and monitoring.
Search Atlas Coworker was designed to let users delegate SEO execution in plain language, similar to assigning work to a human teammate. Previously, this workflow required operating within the Search Atlas platform. With the new integration, teams can connect Coworker to Slack and manage tasks from existing conversations. Search Atlas has published dedicated setup guidance to help teams configure their workspace correctly.
Once connected, Coworker can be used in shared channels or direct messages, depending on team preferences. Agencies managing multiple client sites can bring Coworker into client-specific channels, keeping requests and results visible to all relevant team members. In-house teams can opt for private direct messages for day-to-day tasks. Workspace admins receive dedicated permission controls to manage access and define what Coworker can handle across connected accounts. Search Atlas has also provided guidance on how Coworker manages data and permissions for organizations reviewing these details before a full rollout.
The Slack integration supports Routines, Coworker's automated recurring reports, allowing teams to receive standing SEO and OTTO updates directly in Slack. Additionally, Search Atlas has resolved a previously reported issue that prevented users from deactivating or deleting Coworker's scheduled jobs, giving teams full control over active processes. Coworker is also available through a WordPress plugin, with guidance on how the plugin interacts with OTTO site quotas across multiple domains.
For teams getting started, Search Atlas has published a library of example prompts and use cases, from auditing technical SEO issues to drafting on-page recommendations. Supporting documentation includes guidance on when to use Coworker versus the standard dashboard, a troubleshooting guide for common Slack connection issues, and a FAQ covering how connected apps, approval steps, and Coworker's capabilities work in practice for both in-house teams and agencies.
“Most SEO work dies in a queue somewhere between the strategy and the person who has time to execute it,” said Arman Advani, Partner at Search Atlas. “Putting Coworker in Slack closes that gap. The work gets assigned in the same place the team already talks about it, and it gets done without anyone having to open another tab.”
The Search Atlas Coworker Slack integration is available now to customers and can be connected from the Coworker settings inside the platform. This launch addresses common workflow bottlenecks by integrating task management into a platform many teams already use daily, potentially increasing efficiency and adoption of AI-driven SEO tools.
