On February 6, board member Michael Kamdar will speak at the Precision Medicine World Conference (PMWC) 2025 in Silicon Valley. Zelenirstat has shown encouraging results in early studies. A completed Phase 1 multiple ascending dose study demonstrated acceptable safety and tolerability, with pharmacokinetics supporting once-daily oral dosing. Preclinical data indicate the drug can kill cancer cells in vitro and induce regression of hematologic malignancies, as well as inhibit growth in lung and breast cancer tumors in animal models. Pacylex's portfolio includes 503 small molecule NMTis, with 28 high-potency compounds. The NMTi technology works through multiple mechanisms to disrupt cancer cell survival pathways, including receptor tyrosine kinases, Wnt pathway, and PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling. This multi-targeted approach is particularly promising for drug-resistant cancers, with limited acquired resistance observed despite long-term exposure.
